Dr. Mazen Al-Jafri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training for the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Sector, chaired a meeting for the Scholarships Sector to discuss the achievements of the Scholarships Sector during the first quarter of the year 2024.

Undersecretary Al-Jafari reviewed the missions sector’s plan that had been implemented for the first quarter of the year 2024, praising the role of the sector’s cadres and their efforts to accomplish the tasks, calling for raising the level of performance and job discipline.

The meeting also discussed a number of important topics that regulate the progress of work in the sector, and Al-Jifri stressed adherence to the scholarship law, the executive regulations and the established systems, in the service of students on scholarship abroad.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdullah Qasim, Director General of Cultural Relations, and Dr. Abdul Raqeeb Gibran, Director General of Missions, and Mr. Jalal Al Hashemi, Director General of Financial Affairs, and Mr. Ali Al-Shuaibi, Director General of Oversight, department directors and specialists.
