It announced the dispatch of a warship to the Red Sea...the first country to respond to America's call for a “global coalition” against the Houthis

The first country responded to the call made by the United States yesterday, for a coalition that includes all the world’s governments to confront the Houthi threats in the Red Sea, after the Houthis targeted a cargo ship on which 3 sailors were killed and others were injured.
According to Reuters, the Netherlands announced this evening, Thursday, that it would deploy a Dutch Navy ship in the Red Sea.
This comes days after sending a German frigate, as the German Parliament (Bundestag) at the end of last month approved, by an overwhelming majority, a new mandate requiring the German armed forces to deploy up to 700 soldiers, in addition to equipment including the naval frigate Hessen, to The Red Sea as part of the European Union mission aimed at providing safe passage for the navy.
The United States called yesterday for a global coalition against the Houthi militia affiliated with Iran, against the backdrop of its attacks in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, after the recent attack that caused deaths, injuries, and missing members of the crew of an American ship that was bombed, southwest of Aden.
The US State Department said in a press conference that Washington continues to hold the Houthis responsible for their attacks. She said, "The Houthi attacks not only disrupted international navigation, but have now caused the killing of innocent people."
The US State Department called on "the countries of the world to follow our example in holding the Houthis accountable and to coordinate with our partners in this regard." At the end of last December, America formed an alliance of several countries under the name “Guardian of Prosperity.”
The American cargo carrier MV True Confidence, a ship operated by a Liberian company and flying the flag of the State of Barbados, was subjected to a Houthi attack in the Gulf of Aden, yesterday, Wednesday, which resulted in 3 deaths and other injuries. They are considered the first 3 people killed by the Houthi attacks targeting Ships with their lives.
