Coast Guard forces bust a drug smuggling gang on the coast of Dhu Bab

The Yemeni Coast Guard forces in the Red Sea sector arrested a gang trying to smuggle large quantities of narcotic hashish and Captagon tablets across the sea.
An official source in the Yemeni Coast Guard said that the seizure took place in the Wajih area of the Dhu Bab al-Mandab District.
He pointed out that the gang consisted of 3 people who used a bus and a wooden boat in the operation.
The seized quantity of narcotic hashish amounted to one hundred and fifty-nine kilograms and six hundred grams, in addition to one hundred and fifty-six thousand eight hundred and eighty Captagon tablets.
The source confirmed that the investigation process is continuing with the gang members, and they will be transferred to the judicial authorities as soon as investigations are completed.
