The Transport Authority announces the extension of the suspension of flights via “Al-Wadiah”

Today, the General Authority for Land Transport Affairs in the capital, Aden, issued a circular to international passenger transport companies (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Line) to extend the suspension of flights until tomorrow, Saturday, in view of the congestion occurring in the Al-Abr area and Al-Wadiah Port due to the operation of illegal flights by land transport companies. And its failure to adhere to the authority’s circulars, according to what was stated in the circular.
The head of the Land Transport Affairs Authority, Mr. Fares Shafal, stressed on transport companies to prevent any trip to the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia until they are notified of the resumption of trips by the authority, and to create a schedule according to certain standards to ensure that there is no crowding and congestion at the crossings, and notify everyone of this schedule. .
Shafal promised those who violate the authority’s directives and procedures to take legal action against them.
In the same context, the Land Transport Regulatory Authority announced to travelers wishing to pass through Al-Wadiah land port on board their private cars that there is severe overcrowding and congestion at the port.
The Authority explained that it has taken measures to regulate the traffic of private cars through Al-Wadiah Port with ease and smoothness, which are as follows:
1- Travel postponed during the next two days, and anyone who violates this will be banned.
2- Starting from March 10, no vehicle will be allowed to pass, whether private or otherwise, except with an official permit from the authority’s operations room.
