The Yemeni government accuses black market speculators of causing the deterioration of the value of the Yemeni riyal, stressing that it is making unremitting efforts to control the market and combat this phenomenon.

The exchange rates of Arab and foreign currencies stabilized, at the beginning of today’s trading, Saturday, March 9, 2024, in the exchange markets in various governorates of Yemen.

The US dollar: The purchase price of the US dollar ranged between 1640 and 1653 Yemeni riyals, while its selling price ranged between 1653 and 1660 Yemeni riyals.

The Emirati dirham: The purchase price of the Emirati dirham ranged between 434 and 435 Yemeni riyals, while its selling price ranged between 435 and 436 Yemeni riyals.

Saudi riyal: The buying price of the Saudi riyal ranged between 433 and 434 Yemeni riyals, while its selling price ranged between 434 and 435 Yemeni riyals.

In Hadhramaut Governorate:

The US dollar: The purchase price of the US dollar ranged between 1640 and 1652 Yemeni riyals, while its selling price ranged between 1652 and 1660 Yemeni riyals.
