The Director General of the Mansoura District in the capital, Aden, Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi, today, Thursday, handed over the project to rehabilitate rainwater drainage channels on the sea road, to the implementing agency, “Al-Hubaishi General Contracting Office,” through the Public Works Project, at a cost of “220” One thousand dollars, funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.
The project - whose implementation period according to the concluded contract is “4” months - includes the supply and installation of polyethylene pipes with a diameter of “20” inches, with a length of “500” meters, from the Caltex roundabout to the airport runway, in addition to the construction of “40” concrete inspection rooms. .
During the delivery process, along with the director of the sub-region of the public works project in Aden and Abyan, Engineer Mohsen Alawi Al-Saqqaf, the Director General of Mansoura, Ahmed Al-Daoudi, urged the implementing agency to begin working on the project while adhering to the engineering specifications, technical standards and time duration, stressing the importance of completing the project as it It will contribute to the drainage of rainwater and prevent it from accumulating on the same road, which is one of the most vital and important roads in the capital, Aden.
Al-Daoudi appreciated the efforts of the Public Works Project in implementing many service and development projects in various fields, praising - at the same time - the role of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development in financing the implementation of this important service project.
The project delivery process was attended by the Deputy Executive Director General of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Aden, Salmeen Alawi, the member of the Administrative Board of the Local Council in Mansoura, Arif Yassin, and the Deputy Director of the Second Sanitation District, Engineer Mazen Al-Saqqaf.
