Chairman of the Leadership Council praises Yemeni-Turkish relations

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met today, Monday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Polat.
The Turkish Ambassador conveyed to His Excellency the President the greetings and congratulations of his brother, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, and his wishes for His Excellency good health and happiness, and for the Yemeni government and people, security, stability and peace.
In turn, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Ambassador Polat, conveyed his greetings and the members of the Council to his brother, President Erdogan, and his wishes for him good health and for the brotherly Turkish people further development and prosperity.
His Excellency the President heard from the Turkish Ambassador impressions of his recent tour in a number of Yemeni governorates, and the ongoing and future Turkish humanitarian and service interventions, especially in the fields of higher education, culture, health, agriculture, rehabilitation and training.
In the meeting, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the distinguished historical relations between Yemen and the Republic of Turkey, looking forward to more broader cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
His Excellency the President also praised the firm Turkish position in addition to constitutional legitimacy, and the efforts to restore state institutions, and end the coup of the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi.
