The contractor for the rainwater drainage project on Central Bank Street in Crater was arrested

The leadership of the local authority in the Sirah District in the capital, Aden, approved the suspension of the contractor implementing the rainwater drainage project, phase (2-3) in the district, implemented by the Public Works Project, with funding from the World Bank through UNEPS.
The local authority in Sirah said, “According to the directives of the Minister of State, Governor of Aden, Ahmed Lamlas, the contractor for the project extending from in front of the Central Bank to Shamsan School was suspended due to the contractor’s delay in completing the project, and the contractor’s failure to adhere to safety and security procedures and conditions.”
She added, “The local authority 7 in the Sira District has taken the necessary measures to agree with an alternative contractor to undertake the tasks of completing the remainder of the project work, stressing the need to adhere to the technical specifications and the specified time frame for completing the project work.”
