Floods resulting from heavy rains swept away three fraternal children in the “Al-Sabil” area, and rescuers were able to save two of them while the third, the child Sinan Bashir Ahmed Al-Muhammadi, is still missing; The search is underway for the missing child in Al-Saila, which extends to the orphanage area east of the city.
This incident is part of the challenges of the rainy season in the governorate, which is known for its heavy rainfall, as reports indicate similar incidents that led to the death of about 38 people last year in the governorate, whether due to drowning, floods, or thunderbolts. These events demonstrate the urgent need for preventive measures and early warnings to avoid such disasters in the future.
