Local mediation failed to open a main road linking #Sanaa Governorate, controlled by the Houthis, and the capital, #Aden, via Al-Dhalea Governorate, today, Tuesday.

Local sources said that gunmen opened fire in the village of (Al-Zayla) in the #Maris area, north of Al-Dhalea, on the line of contact separating the Houthis and the joint forces consisting of the southern forces and the popular resistance.

The shooting came against the backdrop of an armed foot march of the Houthis and tribal figures loyal to them with bulldozers who attempted to forcefully open the road, which prompted the other party to open fire, according to local sources.
