United Nations: More than 4.5 million Yemenis are displaced due to the conflict

The United Nations announced that the decade-long conflict in Yemen has displaced more than 4.5 million people.
In a statement by Ladim and Surno, Director of the Operations and Advocacy Division at the United Nations Office for Humanitarian Affairs, she called on the international community to continue generous support to the Yemeni people to help them rebuild their lives in dignity.
It is estimated that about half of Yemen's population, or 17.6 million people, will face acute food insecurity in 2024, according to a report issued by the office last February.
