13 passengers died in a horrific collision in the Al-Jawf Desert in northern Yemen

At least 13 people died, including women and children, in a horrific collision on the road in the desert of Al-Jawf Governorate (northern Yemen). They were on their way to perform Umrah.
Local sources said, “A collision occurred between a Hilux car carrying passengers coming from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a private bus belonging to one of the tribes in the governorate.”
The sources explained, “The accident resulted in the death of 13 people, including children and women, while one person was injured.”
This comes, in light of the Houthi armed group’s continued opening of the main road linking the “Ma’rib, Al-Jawf and Sana’a” governorates, which was previously announced by the member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Governor of Ma’rib, Sultan Al-Arada, by announcing its opening to travelers unilaterally.
