Al-Mualla police arrested a gang practicing theft and fraud in the capital, Aden, and they were in possession of sums of money in foreign currency and Yemeni riyals.
Al-Mualla Police Director, Colonel Fadl Al-Jahafi, said that the Al-Mualla Police arrested a gang that practiced fraud and theft, and in their possession were huge sums of money estimated at ten thousand dollars and four hundred and fifty thousand Yemeni riyals.
Al-Jahafi confirmed that the gang confessed to a number of theft crimes committed against a number of citizens in the capital, Aden, by storming their homes dressed in women’s clothing and stealing citizens’ money in cooperation with a woman with a criminal record.
Al-Jahafi invited all citizens who were subjected to fraud and theft to come to the police station and submit official reports of their property and items stolen by this gang, which committed theft crimes in absurd and dangerous ways.
He indicated that the police forces have opened investigation reports with the accused, and as soon as the investigations with the accused are completed, they will be transferred to the competent authorities.
