Al-Jawf: Houthi restrictions and violations spark armed confrontations in Al-Hazm

Armed confrontations broke out in the city of Al-Hazm, Al-Jawf Governorate, between tribal fighters and forces affiliated with the Houthi militia, which is classified as a terrorist group and supported by Iran. These clashes arose against the backdrop of a series of attacks carried out by the militia against civilians and tribesmen.
According to local sources, the confrontations continued for several hours on Wednesday, resulting in injuries on both sides.
It should be noted that the clashes come as a response to the restrictions imposed by the Houthis on commercial activities and the daily life of residents, in addition to incidents of kidnapping and killing carried out by the militia at checkpoints and roads leading to the governorate.
These events come after similar confrontations took place between the Bani Nouf tribes and the Houthis, as well as between the Amran and Dahm tribes, which reflects escalating tensions in the region and further complicates the security situation in Yemen.
