Al-Mahra...a collective resignation of the transitional leaders in Saihut...for these reasons!

The Executive Body of the Southern Transitional Council in Saihut submitted its collective resignation today, Tuesday, March 14, 2024.
Reasons for resignation:
Marginalization and exclusion:
The authority accuses the local leadership of the governorate of marginalizing the people of Saihut District since the founding of the Southern Transitional Council.
Failure to fulfill promises:
The authority indicates that it ceded all departments to the local leadership in the governorate at the beginning of the founding of the council, with promises from the former council president to compensate the people of the district at a later time, which were not fulfilled.
Exclusion of cadres:
The authority accuses the local leadership of excluding qualified cadres from Saihut from representing the governorate in the higher council bodies.
Failure to adopt fair standards: The Commission believes that the local leadership did not adopt the standards of area, population, and competencies in representing the Saihut District in the National Assembly, the Advisory Council, and the governorate leadership.
Marginalization of women:
The Commission notes the exclusion of women from representing Saihut District in the various council bodies.

May God’s peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you
) Subject / collective resignation)
Respected, in the beginning, we extend to you our best regards and best wishes, and I wish you success in your important practical tasks, and we congratulate you on the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, and may God accept good deeds from us and from you. We congratulate you and through you, His Excellency the President, Commander Aidaroos bin Qasim Al-Zubaidi, the decisions of the new restructuring of the governorate’s leadership, and a reference to the above topic. We, in the Executive Body of the Southern Transitional Council in Sayhut District, submit a collective resignation as a result of the characteristics and exclusions that the Directorate is subjected to by the leadership in the governorate, which are as follows:
1 - Exclusion and marginalization of the people of Sayhut District since the establishment of the Southern Transitional Council.
In order to preserve the announcement of the Southern Transitional Council in Al-Mahra Governorate, which was bet on its failure by the authorities and some components and personalities, which led to the withdrawal of entire directorates from the meeting hall during the formation of the council and the reluctance of some others to attend, out of our belief in the success of the announcement, as it was done We ceded all the departments to the local leadership in the governorate, and we were promised by the former council president that the people of the district would be compensated at another time, and this has not been done to this day.
2 - Excluding Sayhut District from representation for cadres who were appointed by the governorate’s leadership to represent the governorate in the Supreme Council’s bodies.
Our directorate was excluded from the quota of cadres that was raised to the General Secretariat, for the purpose of representing the governorate in some of the various bodies of the Council.
3 - The criterion of area, population, and competencies was not approved by the governorate leadership to represent the directorate in the National Assembly, the Advisory Council, and the governorate leadership.
Recently, in light of the selection of members of the National Assembly and the Advisory Council, you did not use the criterion of area and population to represent our district, as the smallest district was now represented by (8) people, and the second district in terms of area and population after the capital, Al-Ghaydah, was represented by two people.
The Sayhut District was also represented in the Advisory Council by one person and two referred from the National Assembly, and the Directorate was also represented in the Governorate Authority by (2) district representatives, not directors.
4 - Excluding the directorate from women’s representation from the various council bodies.
