Abdul Rahman Abu Zaraa Al-Muharami, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, and Head of the Equity Government, called Maeen Abdul Malik, called for the disclosure of the results of the committee formed to review the scholarship file to study abroad.

In a memorandum, he directed that he be provided with the report of the academic committee to review scholarship policies and the files of scholarship beneficiaries, which was formed after the leak of official documents confirming that the children of government officials and influential political, military, and media figures, and their relatives, acquired scholarships.

He also ordered that he be provided with the committee’s report and the measures taken by the government after the committee submitted its report in March of this year, explaining that no change had been made in the scholarship despite months having passed since the committee was formed and its work was completed.
