Assassination of an officer in Hotat Lahj

Unidentified gunmen assassinated, on Thursday evening, a criminal investigation officer in the Fifth Brigade, in the city of Al-Houta in Lahj Governorate.
Local sources said that unidentified gunmen opened fire on Officer Hussein Al-Ban, a research officer in the Fifth Brigade, when he was on his way home in the Abbas neighborhood, after finishing Tarawih prayers.
The sources indicated that Alban was killed on the spot, while the gunmen fled to an unknown destination.
