A quantity of smuggled medicines was seized north of Aden

Today, Security Belt forces seized a quantity of smuggled medicines on a bus on a dirt road north of the capital, Aden.
The Aden Capital Belt Operations explained that: “A mobile point belonging to the third sector was able to monitor a medium-sized Toyota (Hiace) bus driving on one of the dirt roads in the Jaoula area.”
She added: “Then the Security Belt patrol pursued the bus, and it was seized with (46) cartons of smuggled medicines on board, and three defendants were arrested,” noting that: “The seized items and the defendants were detained for investigation and completion of legal procedures, and they were transferred to The competent authorities.”
The operation to seize smuggled medicines comes after Hizam forces in the capital, Aden, implemented the security deployment plan for the holy month of Ramadan, as part of their efforts to combat terrorism, crime, drug trafficking, and smuggling operations.
