Starting Saturday... flights to Saudi Arabia will be suspended due to crowding at the Al-Wadiah port

The General Authority for Land Transport Affairs announced the suspension of flights to Saudi Arabia through the Al-Wadiah port linking Yemen and Saudi Arabia, starting today, Saturday.
The authority said in a circular that, based on the reports submitted to it from the Al-Wadiah land port and the authority’s operations room regarding the return of overcrowding and congestion of travelers at the Al-Wadiah land port and the sorting point in Al-Abr District, it was decided to “postpone departure flights on Saturday, corresponding to March 16, until further notice.” Another".
The circular confirmed that the authority will later announce the schedule of departure and arrival of flights from all governorates, in order to preserve the safety of travelers and avoid them waiting in the desert for a long time.
The authority called on all international passenger transport companies to adhere to what was stated in the circular.
Noting that it will take deterrent legal measures against anyone who violates this.
For days, Al-Wadiah land port has been witnessing great congestion due to the influx of thousands of Yemeni citizens to perform Umrah rituals.
