The owner of a large hotel in Aden said that gunmen wearing security uniforms stormed the hotel on Saturday evening.

The Rose Aden 2 Hotel is located in the Al-Arish neighbourhood. Armed men wearing security uniforms raided the hotel, assaulted the workers, and kidnapped the son of the hotel owner.

Musleh Al-Qarbai, the owner of the hotel, told a newspaper that there were no reasons or problems that necessitated this raid.

Al-Qarbai appealed to the security authorities to explain the reasons for this raid, release his son, and apologize to him.

Such facts threaten the continuation of investment operations in Aden, even though they are limited.
