A 5.2 magnitude earthquake hits the coast of Aden

A strong marine earthquake struck the Gulf of Aden, on Sunday, off the coast of the city of Aden.
The Seismology and Volcanology Center stated that the earthquake measured 5.2 on the Richter scale, and was at a shallow depth off the coast of Aden.
The center warned of the possibility of tremors and earthquakes occurring around the epicenter of the earthquake itself or through the transmission of seismic energy towards the Arabian Sea, Djibouti, Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Socotra Island.
