Major General Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council and Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, on Monday evening, directed the local authority and the leadership of the Transitional Council in Al-Dhalea Governorate to develop a comprehensive plan to open roads in the governorate in accordance with the ceasefire measures included in the UN road map, and in response For humanitarian reasons with the advent of the holy month.

This came during a meeting between Al-Zubaidi with the leadership of the local authority in Al-Dhalea Governorate, headed by the governor of the governorate, Major General Ali Muqbil Saleh, and the executive body of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in the governorate, headed by Brigadier General Abdullah Mahdi Saeed, and a number of military and security leaders in the governorate.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of doubling efforts and working in a team spirit to improve the general situation in the governorate and consolidate stability there. In this context, he praised the cohesion, harmony and unity of leadership on the Al-Dhalea front and the high morale enjoyed by the heroes stationed on the front lines along the front.< /p>

In his speech, President Al-Zubaidi touched on the unilateral measures taken by the Houthi militias recently in their attempt to open the road unilaterally, reiterating his position in support of peace efforts, most notably the opening of roads according to agreed-upon controls, 

In this regard, the political, military and security leaders present expressed their thanks and gratitude for the great efforts made by Al-Zubaidi to support the local authority in the governorate and support the military and security forces there.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Fadl Al-Jaadi, the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Major General Shalal Ali Shaye, the head of the Assistant Political Body of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, the head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit in the Council, Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, and Dr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Hajj, Chairman of the Council’s Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Authority.
