The Narcotics Control Department in Lahj security arrested two people peddling narcotic pills in Lahj.

Commander Abdul Hadi Ali Abdullah Faraj, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department in Lahj Security, revealed that the arrest operation took place after carefully tracking and monitoring the movements of the suspected promoters, namely “A. A, B” and “Y, R, M” were arrested in Lahj, in a successful security operation.

Faraj added that quantities of narcotic pills were found, and they are promoting them, noting that the Narcotics Department has investigated the seized items, issued an arrest report, and will refer them to the criminal prosecution to take legal action.

This operation comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts to combat drugs in the security of Lahj Governorate, in order to eliminate the drug scourge.

At the conclusion of his statement, Abdel Hadi pointed out that combating drugs is not limited to the General Administration for Drug Control, but is the responsibility of everyone in order to protect our youth from falling into hotbeds of addiction.
