The Ministry of Human Rights issues a statement about the Houthi crime in Radaa, Al-Bayda

The Ministry of Human Rights condemned in the strongest terms the brutal attack and terrorist crime committed by the terrorist Houthi militia, today, Tuesday, by bombing a house in the city of Radaa in Al-Bayda Governorate on its residents, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of a number of civilians.
A statement from the Ministry explained that the terrorist militias proceeded on Tuesday morning, corresponding to March 19, 2024 AD, to besiege the Al-Naqoos house, booby-trapping it with explosives and explosive devices, and detonating it. This resulted in the complete destruction of the house and the demolition of a number of nearby popular homes to their residents, adding that preliminary information indicates that approximately 18 Civilians, most of whom are women and children, are still under the rubble, including a family of nine members, all of whom died. They are the family of Muhammad Saad Al-Yarimi.
The statement stated, “The Ministry of Human Rights condemns in the strongest terms and denounces this terrorist crime and all the attacks and criminal acts committed by the Houthi militia against civilians in Al-Bayda Governorate, including killing, kidnapping, destruction and bombing of homes, looting of property, and systematic intimidation of women and children, which constitute serious and serious crimes and violations.” against civilians in Al-Bayda Governorate since its invasion and seizure by force of arms, which requires all international and local organizations concerned with human rights to work to monitor and document these grave violations committed by the Houthi militias against civilians and communicate them to public opinion and all UN bodies in preparation for pursuing these terrorist militias.”< /p>
The statement stressed that the continued commission of these crimes confirms to the international community what the legitimate government has stated regarding the fact that the Houthi militia is a terrorist entity and organization that practices and commits the most heinous crimes against civilians, including killing, sniping, siege, destruction, and bombing of homes in a hideous manner that Yemen has never witnessed.
In this regard, the Ministry called on the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and international organizations to condemn these serious and gross violations committed by the terrorist Houthi militia against civilians in the city of Radaa, Al Bayda Governorate, and various Yemeni cities, and to work to provide full protection for civilians.< /p>
