The Director General of the Oil Company, Shabwa Branch, Ahmed Muhammad Al-Shami, and under the guidance of Brother Awad Muhammad bin Al-Wazir, Governor of Shabwa Governorate and Head of the Local Council, and in coordination with the security authorities in the governorate, launched a field visit campaign to the stations to inventory the stock of petroleum derivatives and control the supply sources for the violating stations, starting from On Saturday, September 30, 2023 AD, the campaign continues for a full week, and the campaign targets all stations in the governorate’s directorates.

The campaign comes in which the petroleum smuggling law will be imposed on stations proven to be supplied from sources that violate the laws and regulations of the oil company, in order to close them and hold their owners and those involved in smuggling operations legally accountable.

Especially since this step has become necessary to control prices and obligate all stations to receive supplies from the oil company.

The campaign also comes in response to the needs of citizens to control prices and combat smuggled materials, based on the directives of the Governor of Shabwa Governorate and the management of the oil company and in preparation for resupply through the oil company to control prices and reduce them on the shoulders of the citizen.
