The Houthi militia demolishes the house of a citizen south of Sanaa

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Houthi militia demolished the home of a citizen south of the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, in light of the militia’s bombing and demolition operations of Yemeni homes in its areas of influence.
According to local sources, the Houthi militia demolished the house of citizen Hassan Al-Zaidi, located in the Attan neighborhood, south of Sanaa, without prior warning.
The demolition operation was supervised by the Houthi leader Muhammad Mutahar al-Washli, nicknamed “Abu Mutahar,” impersonating the director of the Al-Sabeen District, and a number of Houthi militia leaders in the security and works sector. It took place via a bulldozer called “Sharon,” reinforced with armed crews carrying Houthi groups on board.
According to the sources, the “Zaidi” citizen whose house was demolished had collected the proceeds of his own work for years to rebuild the house that had been severely damaged by the Attan bomb, so that he could live there legally, but the terrorist militia pursued him and completely destroyed his house.
The militias have been carrying out continuous violations in the areas under their control since their coup on September 21, 2014, under a series of pretexts. The incident is legally considered an assault on the rights and property of others and a crime of forced displacement that denies the homeowner citizenship and existence, and can only be carried out by invaders and colonizers.
