Al-Zubaidi: We will open all crossings with the north according to an organized mechanism

Major General Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, said on Thursday evening that all ports between the south and the north will be opened according to an organized mechanism, under UN supervision.
This came during his meeting with local leaders, tribal figures and notables in Abyan Governorate on Thursday evening at the council headquarters in Tawahi in the capital, Aden.
During the meeting, Al-Zubaidi reviewed the latest developments related to the political process and the UN road map aimed at ending the conflict and bringing peace to the region, and its implications in light of the continued Houthi terrorist escalation in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab, and the Gulf of Aden.
Al-Zubaidi also discussed with the attendees the developments related to opening the ports in line with the procedures included in the UN road map in its first phase. In this regard, President Al-Zubaidi confirmed that all ports in all the governorates of the south and northern Yemen will be opened according to an organized mechanism and under the supervision of the local and security authorities in the governorates. .
Al-Zubaidi heard from the Governor of Abyan, Major General Abu Bakr Hussein, and the attendees a brief explanation of the general conditions in the governorate, and the concerns and aspirations of its people.
