An elderly man was killed by a Houthi mine explosion in Al-Jawf

An elderly man was martyred, on Sunday, as a result of a mine explosion belonging to the Houthi militia (classified on the terrorist list) in Al-Jawf Governorate.
Local sources reported that the elderly citizen, “Ayed Nasser Shaman Al-Nofi,” was martyred as a result of a Houthi mine explosion in the “Ham” area, northwest of the city of Al-Hazm, the center of the governorate.
It was reported that the Houthi mine exploded while the elderly man, “Al-Noufi,” was grazing sheep, which is his source of livelihood to support his family.
According to government and official reports, since the beginning of the war that broke out after the coup on September 21, 2014, the Iranian-backed Houthi militia has planted more than two million multi-purpose mines on roads and grazing areas, and around water wells and residential homes.
