Antiquities of Yemen at international auctions for Israel

The Yemeni researcher interested in antiquities, Abdullah Mohsen, revealed that an international auction will be held for a rare antique bronze statue of a young man from ancient Yemen in the Israeli occupation state.
Mohsen said, in a post on his Facebook page: “A rare antique bronze statue of a young man from ancient Yemen, from inside the Tel Aviv (Jaffa) auction gallery, was displayed on Sunday in that exhibition.”
He added, “Starting on Sunday, March 24, visitors with advance appointments began visiting the archaeological center’s auction showroom, organized by the Israeli archaeologist Dr. Robert Deutsch, on the international auction platform Bedsprit, at the Dan Tel Aviv Hotel overlooking the city’s coastal promenade on The Mediterranean, which is the hotel of choice for Bill and Hillary Clinton, Paul McCartney, Madonna, the Rolling Stones and Lady Gaga.
The researcher Mohsen continued, “Although at the beginning of the promotion, the auction displayed six antiquities from Yemen, it added a seventh masterpiece that had previously been displayed on October 3, 2023 AD, and it received attention in this auction. It is a bronze statue of a young man, more than half a height.” meters (61 cm), dating back to the period from the fourth century to the second century BC.
Yemeni antiquities were bulldozed, looted, vandalized, and smuggled out of the country, and were offered for sale at auctions in countries such as the United States, Britain, Germany, France, and Israel.
