The Islah Party had intervened, with all its influence and powers, to prevent the killer, Mikhlafi, from being sent to the Public Prosecution, claiming that the case was military. He was sent to the military police headquarters in the traffic circle, which is the headquarters designated for the murderers and criminals of the Brotherhood leaders’ sons, who are later smuggled from it. .
The sources confirmed that the Brotherhood leader, Hammoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, had provided a travel visa and a new passport for his brother, along with a number of leaders sentenced to death, to smuggle them to the Sultanate of Oman and then to Turkey.
