Mr. Waddah Nasr Obaid Al-Halmi, head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Lahj Governorate, met Monday morning in his office in the city of Al-Houta with the Director-General of Taban District, Al-Akh Mohsen Jaafar Al-Saqqaf.
During the meeting, many issues and topics related to the work of the local authority and the role of community committees in the district were discussed, and ways to strengthen the partnership between the transitional government and the local authority were discussed.
Al-Halmi stressed the keenness and interest of the Lahj transitional leadership to strengthen partnership and joint cooperation with the local authorities, praising the efforts made by the leadership of the local authority in Taban District.
The Director General of Teban pointed to the most prominent problems facing the functioning of the local authority, the first of which is the population explosion, land problems, and the expansion of lands by influential people, pointing to a matrix of solutions and treatments that the local authority intends to take to address some of the problems.
On the other hand, the interim CEO of Lahj, Waddah Al-Halmi, met with Sheikh Abdel Fattah Muqbil Mohsen Al-Qutaybi, advisor to the Commander of the Fifth Support and Support Brigade.
During the meeting, which was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board Muhammad Al-Imad, many issues related to the security and military conditions and the security of the Radfan Quartet were discussed.
