Today, Al-Basateen Police arrested three accused of stealing an amount of money estimated at 400,000 riyals from a citizen’s car in the Al-Basateen area in the Dar Saad District in the capital, Aden.

The Director of the Basateen Police, Colonel Abdel Nasser Al-Shanfra, said: “We received a report from a citizen about the loss of an amount of money estimated at 400,000 riyals from his car in the Basateen neighborhood... indicating that the investigation team was able to determine that the accused opened the car door in a professional manner.

Al-Shanfra explained that the investigation team carried out a process of tracking the accused through surveillance cameras, where the identity of the accused was identified, their movements were monitored, and they were successfully arrested.

Al-Shanfra confirmed that the accused are three residents of the Basateen area, namely (A.A.M.), (A.M.A.), and (S.A.S.), who confessed during their investigation to committing the crime of theft, while legal procedures are currently being completed. with them and refer them to the competent authorities.
