Deputy Director of Security of the Capital Aden, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, met today with Dr. Etemad Matar, the international expert on women, peace and security issues at the United Nations Development Program in Aden, in the Security Administration building in Khor Maksar District.
During the meeting, Brigadier General Jabr welcomed Dr. Matar and gave a detailed explanation about the efforts made by the security department of the capital, Aden, in light of the exceptional circumstances the country is experiencing, to establish security and stability in the capital.
He referred to the efforts of the Security Department in the campaign to prevent peace within the efforts to combat crime and prevent the spread of weapons and their circulation in the markets and streets of Aden to establish security and order and restore the leading role of the capital.
General Jabr mentioned a number of challenges facing the security services, including illegal refugees from the countries of the Horn of Africa, noting the importance of coordination and joint cooperation with the United Nations Development Program and providing support in the areas of rehabilitation of security personnel, police stations, and security buildings in the capital, Aden.< /p>
For her part, Dr. Matar thanked Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr for his generous hospitality and warm reception, praising the security efforts that have become tangible today in Aden, and also referring to the nature of their work in the United Nations Development Team.
