A gas cylinder explosion in one of the districts east of the capital, Sana'a, led to the death of a woman and her child and the serious injury of her husband.
Local sources said that a woman in her forties died the day before yesterday, along with her child, and her husband was injured as a result of a domestic gas cylinder explosion inside their house in the Dar Salam area of Sanhan District, southeast of Sanaa.
The sources added that the deceased was called “Ghada Ali Ahmed Al-Nusairi,” the wife of the house owner, “Wasim Ahmed Naji Al-Farah,” who suffered burns on his body, and his son Ahmed died as a result of his injury in the gas cylinder explosion.
The sources confirmed that the victims of the explosion were transferred to the Republican Hospital in the capital, Sanaa, amid local demands to hold the gas company accountable and force it to maintain the cylinders and replace the components.
