This morning, Mr. Abdul Latif Muhammad Al-Naqeeb, Director General of the Cotton District and Head of the Local Council, chaired a meeting of the Emergency Committee in the presence of the concerned authorities to follow up on efforts and actions to confront the repercussions of the weather situation and to review the treatments that have been carried out since early morning.

The Director General directed the directors of service facilities (health, water, and electricity) to be on alert for any emergency. He also directed the Education Department to instruct school principals to inspect water outlets and floods; And surfaces.

He stressed that the Public Works and Roads Office will follow up on any reports from the operations room. And deal with it directly.;

The Director General confirmed that we are the first in the Directorate to take proactive measures to confront the repercussions of the depression by clearing waterways, ferries, and flood channels.

The Director General directed the Public Works Office to deploy machinery and equipment to remove waste from public streets and pump out water to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic for vehicles and citizens.
