Warnings of the continued impact of the depression on parts of Hadramaut, Al-Mahra, and Shabwa

The Early Warning Center for Disasters and Climate Risks in Hadhramaut Governorate warned of the continued impact of a state of air instability on parts of Hadhramaut, Al-Mahra and Shabwa governorates, as a result of the extension of a gully from an upper air depression during the next (48) hours.
The center indicated in its bulletin issued today, according to the Saba Agency, that it is expected, God willing, that formations of cumulonimbus clouds that will turn into thunderstorms will occur in the afternoon and evening periods over parts of the valley, deserts, and plateaus of Hadramaut’s interior, and parts of the highlands and countryside of the Hadhramaut coast. With a limited impact on coastal areas, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity.
The center pointed out that the climate situation is accompanied by active downward winds and the flow of torrents from valleys and reefs... stressing the need to take the utmost caution in the districts of Wadi Hajar, Gail Bin Yamin, Sah, Doan, Amad, Sayun, Tarim, Shibam, Cotton, Al-Abr, Wadi Al-Ain and Hourah, Al-Dulaiah, the countryside of Mukalla.
The center also alerted citizens and travelers to the need to follow safety instructions against the dangers of floods in valleys and mountain slopes, to be aware of thunderstorms and accompanying downward winds, to stay away from the depths of the valleys and not to risk crossing them when they are flowing, and to remove vehicles and property from the valley paths and their branches in the event of heavy rainfall. .. Warning them against touching lighting poles and electrical conductors during and after rain, and to exercise caution while traveling and moving between directorates.
