Rescuing a citizen stranded in floods in Al-Mahra and halting transit traffic in Aqaba, Liquid Al-Abri

Yesterday, Wednesday, security units and civil defense teams were able to rescue a citizen who was stuck in Al-Ibri in the middle of the torrent in Al-Mahra Governorate.
The Emergency Committee in Al-Mahra Governorate raised the level of readiness yesterday, Wednesday, in the security units and departments affiliated with the governorate’s police to confront the effects of the depression.
The security units in Al-Mahra Governorate also prevented citizens from venturing out and passing through the Sa’ila Al-Abri obstacle, out of concern for their safety and their property.

Noting that there were reports of large torrential rains today in the Al-Ghaydah, Qishn and Manar districts due to rainfall in Al-Mahra Governorate, without recording any loss of life or property.
In Hadramaut Governorate, Brigadier General Al-Haddad indicated that moderate to light rain fell yesterday morning, Wednesday, in the Al-Raydah and Qusayar districts, while the city of Al-Mukalla and its suburbs witnessed yesterday afternoon rainfall, which caused torrents to pour into the valleys.
Weather forecasts for yesterday, Wednesday, indicated rain falling at sunset in the districts of Yabath, Ghail Bawazir, Hajar and Douan in Hadhramaut.
While the sky is still overcast, security units and civil defense teams on the Hadhramaut coast continue to be prepared and prepared to deal with any emergency resulting from the depression.
