The security forces of the capital, Aden, were able to arrest a defendant who attempted to smuggle quantities of hashish and pills on board a tourist bus that was coming from the Al-Abr area.

Dar Saad Police Director, Colonel Musleh Al-Dharhani, said, “Police personnel were able to arrest the accused (T.A.M.), who was coming from Al-Abr on board a tourist bus at the western entrance to the capital, Aden.

Al-Dharhani added that during the search of the bus by the security men, a quantity of hashish and narcotic pills were found, and as a result, the accused was detained for investigation and the seized quantities were recorded in an arrest report.

The Dar Saad Police Director confirmed that the security forces are in the process of completing the investigation with the accused, and after the end of the legal procedures, he will be transferred to the competent authorities.
