Abyan.. Tribal mediation stops confrontations between two tribes that left dead and wounded in Jaar

Local mediation in Abyan Governorate succeeded in stopping armed clashes between two Kazmi tribes as a result of family disputes that led to deaths and injuries and damage to a number of properties.
Local sources said that armed clashes broke out, on Thursday evening, in the city of Jaar in the Khanfar District, between the “Al Sayyad” and “Al Jubaili” tribes, as a result of family disputes over ownership of a piece of land.
It explained that the clashes followed a gunman from the Jubaili family shooting one of his relatives from Al-Sayyad’s house called “Anwar Al-Sayyad,” his mother, and his brother, on Wednesday evening, which led to the killing of Al-Syyad and his mother, and the wounding of his brother.
The sources indicated that the clashes caused the burning of a car and damage to some of the homes of the Jubaili family, before they were contained by tribal mediation from the "Al Sanad", which was able to establish a month-long peace between the two tribes.
