Rainwater and floods cause damage to a number of roads in Wadi Hadhramaut and the desert

The rains and torrential waters flowing since yesterday evening and this morning caused damage to the roads leading to a number of areas west and east of Wadi Hadhramaut and Al-Oqab, leading to the desert district areas.
Reports submitted by the general directors of the directorates and heads of the emergency committees in those directorates to the emergency subcommittee in the Valley and Desert of Hadhramaut indicated that these damages hindered access to those areas, and government and private equipment began working to open the roads urgently.
The effects of the tropical condition and the depression are still affecting most of the valley and desert districts, and local authorities are warning citizens to stay away from flood streams and sub-valleys.
