The Minister of Defense reveals Iranian smuggling methods to the Houthi militia and sends a message to the international community

The Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, met today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, with the head of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hodeidah Agreement, General Michael Perry, and his accompanying delegation.
The Minister of Defense praised the efforts made by UN and humanitarian missions and organizations in various fields, including the UNMHA mission in Hodeidah, stressing that the government will overcome all difficulties facing missions and organizations to enable them to perform their tasks smoothly.
Minister Al-Daari said that the Houthi terrorist militia did not fulfill any part of the Stockholm Agreement, as is its habit of violating covenants and charters in light of the international community’s laxity in obligating it to implement the agreement, adding that the Houthi militias took advantage of this agreement to make Hodeidah a starting point for threatening maritime navigation and targeting commercial and oil ships.
The Minister of Defense confirmed that military activity in the ports of Hodeidah has increased more than it was before Stockholm, as well as arms smuggling operations and the arrival of Iranian ships coming from the port of Bandar Abbas to the ports of Hodeidah without any UN inspection or oversight, which requires the international community to redouble efforts to put pressure on This terrorist militia.
Lieutenant General Al-Daari pointed to the civilian victims of mines who fall almost daily as a result of the dense mines planted by the terrorist Houthi militia in various regions, especially in Hodeidah.
For his part, Perry appreciated the government’s cooperation with the UNMHA mission to facilitate its tasks, stressing that efforts are being made to strengthen the mission of the UN envoy to bring peace to Yemen.
