Vigorous moves by the Ministry of Oil carry an imminent breakthrough in the status of Aden’s electricity “document”

An official document revealed diligent and intense movements and efforts being made by the Ministry of Oil and Minerals to secure additional quantities of raw fuel for the operation of the President's PetroMasila station and raise its production capacity to keep pace with the increasing demand for electricity in the capital, Aden.
These moves, which are explained in the letter addressed by the Executive Director of the Yemeni Oil and Mineral Investments Company to the Minister of Oil and Minerals, show the extent of seriousness and interest from the Ministry of Oil and Minerals in translating the directives of the Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, that would bring about an imminent breakthrough in the status of Aden’s electricity and payment Towards increasing the production capacity of Al-Rais station, whose current production is 65 megawatts, to about 200 megawatts.
It is worth noting that the oil and minerals sector was one of the most active sectors, and although this sector was affected by the cessation of crude oil exports, the leadership of the Ministry, led by Dr. Saeed Al-Shammasi, played a role in directing the resources of this sector to cover the local markets’ need for fuel, as well as Supplying electricity stations operating with crude oil, and contributing to reducing the demand for supplies that cost the state treasury millions of dollars.
