Security services in the Al-Qatn District in Hadramaut Governorate found the body of a person on Monday, April 22, in a torrent in the Al-Ajlaniya area.

A security source in the Al-Qatn District said that a report was received from Aqil Al-Ajlaniyah neighborhood that an unknown body had been found. It was likely that the torrent had swept it away, and the security services began going to the site and making an investigation report with the forensic evidence and transporting the body to Al-Qatn General Hospital.

The security source confirmed that the victim arrived at Kahweh Bin Aifan last Thursday and communicated with his family, with the intention that he would return on the same day to Ma’rib Governorate, and contact with him was cut off.

The sources denied that there were any side effects behind the incident, such as being swept away by the flood, and the victim’s brother attended and identified the body, called W, A, M A, and attributed the main cause of death to a criminal offense.

The security services confirm that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the accident and to take the necessary legal measures.
