Mystery surrounds the death of a businessman in Al-Mahra Governorate.
The family of businessman Akram Ali Nasher Al-Ward said that the man was facing a case on charges of possessing non-circulating currency. He was imprisoned for a month and a half in Sanaa or more, and after his release, he, his wife, and his children traveled to Aden and then Al-Mahra.
The family explained that he was arrested at the Sarfit port by the security forces and he and his family were taken to the security headquarters.
According to his family, he was killed on the road, which caused the security men to tell them that he jumped out of the car, they said.
The family called on the Public Prosecutor and the local authority in the governorate to clarify the circumstances of the accident and present the body to a forensic doctor.
At a time when the security forces did not comment or issue a statement confirming the man’s suicide.
