Yemen participates in the 58th meeting of the Technical Council of the Gulf Standardization Organization in Doha, Qatar

Our country, represented by the Yemeni Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control, participated in the work of the 58th meeting of the Technical Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council Standardization Organization, which began its work yesterday and over two days, April 24-25, 2024 AD, in the city of Doha, Qatar, with the participation of Their Excellencies and Excellencies the heads of standardization bodies and bodies. In the member states of the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO), which operates under the umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
Our country’s delegation was headed by Engineer Hadid Almas, Chairman of the Yemeni Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control and member of the Technical Council of the Gulf Standardization Organization.
During the meeting, the number was discussed Among the working documents related to standardization activities and following up on the implementation of previous Technical Council decisions
The meeting came out with approval for the adoption of (538) Gulf standards and many recommendations and decisions that support various standardization activities and in a way that ensures strengthening joint Gulf action, facilitating trade between the Council countries and meeting... Market permeability and removing internal obstacles between member states in order to achieve the common Gulf market.
