The Presidency of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority, based on the directives of the Minister of the Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan, referred an employee in the Authority branch for investigation and suspended him from work after he attempted to forge a fingerprint on behalf of his citizen

Mohamed Al-Nahdi, an employee of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority with the rank of corporal in Sayun District, Hadhramaut Governorate, forged and attempted to fingerprint to obtain a smart electronic card instead of citizenship (S-A-K-H in Al-Toyur)

The national ID system is characterized by high digital protection through biometric verification to prevent forgery, data encryption systems, and data diagnostic machines.

The Presidency of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority stressed that it will not hesitate to arrest and hold accountable any employee who violates the work system through forgery and brokerage operations, which exacerbate the suffering of citizens.
