A child drowned in torrential rains in Wadi Benaa in Lahj Governorate

A 13-year-old child drowned, this Friday evening, in the floods of Wadi Benaa in Lahj Governorate, after he had taken a swim in the valley.
Local sources reported that the child was playing with his friends in the valley, when he was suddenly swept away by torrents and was unable to survive.
The sources added that the people of the area searched for the child, and were able to recover his body after hours of searching.
