The security campaign in Shabwa Governorate, today, Saturday, freed the citizen, Ali Omar Banafa, from his kidnappers in the west of the capital, Ataq.

A report was received by the security services about the kidnapping of the citizen “Ali Omar Banafa” by unknown gunmen, and a specialized security unit went to search and investigate the whereabouts of the kidnapped person.

Security succeeded in locating the kidnapped citizen, in a village in Ataq, before moving after attempts at a settlement failed due to the stubbornness of his kidnappers.

A joint campaign from the security units of the governorate police and the Shabwa Defense Forces moved after a circular detailing the specifications and data of the kidnappers of the citizen Banafa, and recovered the citizen “Banafa” unharmed.

The security committee in Shabwa Governorate expressed its appreciation for the efforts of members of the joint security campaign in liberating citizen “Banafa” from the grip of his kidnappers, pledging to pursue the kidnappers, arrest them, and bring them to justice.
