The Houthis oblige wedding halls to play songs and chants instead of songs

The Houthi militia obligated the owners of wedding halls in Amran Governorate to play Houthi chants and mobilizational songs instead of Yemeni songs and chants.
Local sources said that the leadership of the Houthi group in Amran Governorate held a meeting with the owners of wedding and event halls and directed them not to allow artists and singers in Reviving weddings and social events, with the exception of the “Al-Zawamil” band, affiliated with the militia, which employs “Al-Zawamil” to attract children and teenagers and ignite their enthusiasm with the aim of throwing them into its war against the Yemenis.
The sources added that the Houthi leadership accused the artists of participating in what it called the “soft war.” And diluting “society” and holding the owners of wedding and event halls responsible if they allow artists and singers to “sing and chant” at weddings and other occasions.
The Houthi militia is trying to impose its culture and sectarian pattern on the Yemenis and erase the cultural and civilizational heritage of the Yemeni people. p>
