Two fires in Marib and Saada consume a tanker of fuel and agricultural products, harming citizens

Two fires broke out on Saturday, in the governorates of Saada and Ma’rib, destroying commercial stores and a fuel tanker, belonging to groups practicing black market trade that harms citizens.
In Ma’rib Governorate, a fire, the causes of which were unknown, broke out in a tanker in the “Al-Arqain” area. One of the black market traders selling petroleum derivatives in the governorate.
In Saada, a fire broke out in the stores of the so-called “Al-Sunbula” Agricultural Cooperative Society, owned by Houthi leaders, in the pomegranate market in the Al-Humaidan area near Al-Talh market, in the “Sahar” district. It caused major losses after it spread to shops close to the warehouses.
Although the causes of the fire were not identified, the sources speculated that the fire may have been intentional, carried out by Houthi leaders responsible for the association with the aim of covering up large-scale thefts of the association’s stores.
Over the past few years, many fires have been recorded that have destroyed black markets for selling petroleum derivatives, and stores where buying and selling operations are carried out in violation of the laws and tainted by corrupt deals.
